The merchants on Forest Ave have been complaining about the homeless loitering outside their shops. Considering that Forest Ave is Laguna Beach’s high-end avenue and rarely does any local use their shops we could care less. We go elsewhere.
But to see a passed out homeless fellow at Main Beach is a problem. Main Beach with it’s volleyball courts, the boardwalk, and the Lifeguard Tower is the city’s main street and a very big tourist attraction.
This passed out homeless fellow was a little unusual. He didn’t stay long. 10 minutes after I took this photo the police showed up. By the time I had taken some additional photos from the Main Beach overlook and returned to the volleyball courts the lonely sleeper was gone.
